Code of conduct:

 

All attendees, sponsors, partners, volunteers and staff at our hackathon are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Our hackathon is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of the following.

  • gender
  • age
  • disability
  • physical appearance
  • body size
  • ethnicity
  • religion
  • industry experience or lack of
  • previous hackathon attendance or lack of
  • computing experience or lack of
  • chosen programming language or tech stack
We do not tolerate harassment of hackathon participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate at any hackathon venue, this includes the following.
  • hacks
  • talks, presentations, or demos
  • workshops
  • any parties associated to the hackathon
  • social media
  • any other online media

    Participants, Facilitators, Organizers, Mentors, and anyone present will desist from posting phishing, spamming, and related contents, or attempt to hack or gain unauthorized access to any participant or any device present at the event.
  Hackathon participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon at the discretion of the organisers.

If you feel uncomfortable or think there may be a potential violation of the code of conduct, please report it immediately using one of the following methods. All reporters have the right to remain anonymous.
